Infrared laser lighting technology has entered the era of full clarity for the first time
3KM Optoelectronics is the first fully clear infrared laser fill light in the industry, which not only perfectly achieves true full range clarity, but also achieves two major advantages (the contrast effect of the full range clear infrared laser fill light with ordinary infrared laser fill light)
Professionals who have been engaged in laser night vision lighting research know that when infrared laser fill lights and surveillance cameras intelligently synchronize and zoom, there will always be one or two steps where the focus of the two devices cannot fully match from large to small angles, resulting in insufficient brightness, mild explosion, insufficient image clarity, and unclear light spot edges. It is a common practice in the industry to write the lighting angle of this small or even entire segment into a fixed value step by step during angle matching, in order to achieve a clear effect by matching the lighting angle of the infrared laser fill lamp with the field of view angle of the surveillance camera in this segment. However, the effect of this synchronous zoom method can lead to uneven zoom speed, and during the process of changing between two angles, the picture still has slight or bright or dark phenomena. Moreover, the farther the laser night vision compensation distance is, the more obvious this phenomenon will become. Therefore, achieving true intelligent synchronous zoom with clear entire process has always been an ideal state that the infrared laser compensation industry can expect but cannot achieve.
In order to seize this technological high ground, in March 2018, 3KM Optoelectronics began to invest in the research and development of a full range clear infrared laser supplementary lighting project over 1000 meters. Until August 2019, the industry's first fully clear infrared laser fill light was successfully launched, with three effective fill distances of 1000 meters, 1500 meters, and 2000 meters. It not only perfectly achieves true full process clarity, but also achieves two major advantages.
Firstly, it is the smallest fiber laser fill light currently available. Using a fiber laser as the light source, with high brightness, provides a foundation for good image quality and transparency in monitoring images. However, due to the high power of fiber lasers, infrared laser fill lamps using them as light sources are generally larger in size, and the size of this fully clear laser lamp is less than one-fifth of theirs. For the first time in the security monitoring industry, an infrared laser fill light within 2000 meters has been achieved, which can be easily installed in the monitoring ball machine, bringing ultra long range laser night vision fill light into the "small" era.
Secondly, its effectiveness in penetrating smoke, rain, and haze is good. Many people intuitively believe that to achieve the effect of penetrating smoke, rain, and haze, its optical power must be not low, right? Actually, it's not the case. Taking the effective fill distance of 1500 meters as an example, only the laser chip has a power of 10W, which is only about 50% of the optical power of products with the same fill distance on the market. Moreover, the laser spot is uniform, completely free of speckles, with clear boundaries and transparent image quality, which can meet the security night vision supplementary lighting needs in harsh monitoring environments such as ultra long distances, smoke, rain, and haze. At this point, the clear laser fill technology developed by 3KM Optoelectronics has laid a milestone for the development of intelligent synchronous zoom and monitoring image quality in the security and night vision monitoring industry, which are both "clear throughout the entire process".
So, with the development of full range clear infrared laser compensation technology, it will definitely bring disruptive innovation opportunities to the remote laser night vision security monitoring market and inject new competitiveness into security night vision monitoring enterprises.
